Engagement: Jessica & Daniel

When I go into a session I have a pretty good understanding of what I am going to do and how I am going to interact. I don't let this idea clash with the natural flow of the day though. With Jessica and Daniel's engagement session I scoped out the area we decided on the day before (Downtown Phoenix) and then let their personalities take over the session. One thing I loved about this couple was their incredible energy and contagious smiles! I could tell they were so in love with each other and life just by spending the afternoon with them. I cannot wait for their wedding next year in Phoenix.

My take on family photos

Like any photo session I think that a family session should be fun and portray your personality. While I think having a few posed photos can be great, I love capturing a family in motion, hanging out with you, documenting the relationships and love!

I was so excited to be able to fit in a little family session with Elisha, Chuck, and Charlize while they were visiting from Arizona. We actually did this session right before Chuck and Elisha's Anniversary "Anytime" session in Ventura. We had to make it quick, lil' Charlize was a firecracker and I amazed we have any photos of her sitting still.

Rock that dress: Nissa and Chris

As promised I am posting more from the super fun and hot session with Nissa and Chris. They were a ton of fun to work with and we got some great photos of them! Nissa and Chris are past clients of the lovely Ms. Charise and she invited myself and a few other wonderful photographers to shoot at their "Trash the Dress" / Day After session.

This shoot was a great example of a Rock the Dress Session. It is an awesome time to get some fun, flirty, and relaxed photos of you and your new hubby without the stress of the wedding day! A great way to use that beautiful dress you just spent a bunch on, lets get some use out of it! As you can see here you don't even have to "trash" the dress, just rock out some great photos while looking beautiful.
