The Wedding Dress

I thought I would take a few moments and share some of the wedding dresses I have come across that I love.

The first one is from the amazingly talented designer Joan Shum:

I think her dresses have a whimsical yet glamorous flair to them. Punk rock yet classic?

Next up, Stephanie James Couture. Stephanie James has an amazing assortment of tea length dresses. I think tea length is a great way to go if you're a little on the spunky side and for warmer weather. I absolutely love all the options. The silk ribbon on this dress is hand dyed and comes in a variety of colors to match your wedding theme.

Wedding Ideas : I <3 Shoes Pt. 1

So, if you know me, you know I love shoes. Heck, if you have seen my photographs you know I love shoes. Unfortunately I am cursed with very high insteps. I am talking ballerina insteps, I so missed my calling. This makes it tough for me to find rockin shoes that actually fit my feet. Or, at least, don't look like my feet are popping out of the shoe.

But! That does not keep me from lusting over all varieties of shoes. That brings me to one of my first wedding / engagement session ideas/tips post. Shoes!

Just like at any other occasion shoes can make or break an outfit. They can spice up your little black dress or they can play up the colors in your outfit. They are an easy accessory to change and you can have a lot of fun with them. So I have compiled some of my favorite shoes I have seen lately so that you can get some ideas. Do you have to wear funky shoes? Of course not! I want you to feel like you, just let these inspire you and bring your A game. The idea is to look AND feel your best and to also have some fun with your sessions.
